Donate to Indymedia

Indymedia is a not-for-profit news site that accepts no advertising or commercial support whatsoever. We rely entirely on volunteer labour to keep the site going and donations from users to pay our hosting charges - which keep increasing as our traffic increases - in October of 2008, this was over 14GB a day and about 13 million hits a month. If we want to keep on growing we need the community to help out and for users to donate a few euros towards the bills. We also try to help out with similar projects in other parts of the network, especially in the global south.

Thanks to anyone who has donated. However due to technical problems during Nov/Dec 2008, Paypal had locked us out of our acccount due to EU Anti-Money Laundering regulations to collect official documentation and personally identifying information from customers who receive more than a set limit in total payments. We have only just gained access to the donations received over the past month and we apologise for the delay in acknowledging received donations. We can now once again keep a running update of the donations received so far with the donation bargraph above.
